My administrator walks into my office this afternoon and asks, "What the heck is F16? Is it that notorious Fresno gang who gets blamed for all the shootings?"

"Uh...no it's the boat class I sail in, why?"

"Cause this thing just came in the mail from Florida."

Thanks Terry!

Who made it and how much did it cost?

How about it Paul?

It shouldn't be toooo difficult to find a UK promotional wear supplier that'll quote for some embroidered badge fleeces/polos?

And on that note, are we much nearer the first meeting of the UK F16 Assoc? How about membership and fees?

Shouldn't we be vetting furure members to ensure commpliance with the current F16 Circus requirements;
i) Sailing is an excuse to go Drinking.
ii) Drinking is an excuse to talk about Sailing.
iii)Racing Rules are only guidelines and it is up to the individual whether to comply. (did anybody notice the infringement?)
iv)Whilst competing against other Classes you mustn't under any circumstances look like you are sailing in a competent manner or taking it too seriously.
v) If a persons fails to comply with the above then their application to join the F16 Performers should be rejected.
If anybody else wishes to add anymore entry critera then please feel free to add your comments. However, you could probably fit these 'Circus Rules'on the back of a Tee-Shirt as they stand. (I'll start a Logo thread)

The Shadow gang have some real nice denim shirts, I'll make contact and see if they remember who made them.

Do you have to live in the UK to follow these rules? I smell some additions coming up for the US constitution.

As much as I like my new fleece vest, I realize it is just a FAD.

Ahem. Progress is probably best described as "limited".

Regarding membership and fees - I was waiting to hear what the international association was going to impose on us.

The most pressing issue is sorting out the TT for next year. Various options were described in a thread a few weeks back, which I put up on http://www.formula16.org/content/view/35/53/lang,en/

As for a first meeting, how about at the Datchet winter warm-up in Feb?

10 races over 2 weekends, should be a good turn-out from the Datchet F16s and it'd be great to see some visitors too.

Paul

Terry, thanks again for the vest, but I need a hat! I'd be very happy to pay, of course! Think your Mom would be willing to whip out a few for Tradewinds?
