Help! Found a small (thumbnail sized) hole in near center of my trampoline (I-20). Any ideas on how to minimize the spread/repair the hole? Can a regular canvas shop tackle this issue, or should I send it to a specialty shop. I live in south Florida...

I was wondering the same thing but I thought some might think it a dumb idea... Install a grommet right there.

Don't forget that I-20 class rules say that you cannot add more than eight gromets to your tramp. That is, your tramp came with X number of gromets, you can only add eight more to it.

I figured I might have to put a grommet in there. Just don't know what I could use it for, as it would be almost the center of the trampoline, but if it keeps the hole from spreading, I guess that's reason enough!

And I'm glad someone looked up the rule. I thought it was 8 TOTAL grommets, not 8 more than the standard....

My aftermarket rotator points *forward* from the mast.

That's okay, it lets me make my rotator self-tending, self tacking. See, there's a little tab sewn onto my tramp, just about dead center, a little forward of that maybe. The tab has a 1" grommet in it, and is secured to the tramp with another, making it quite strong.

So you take a lengh of bungie, pass it once through the grommet in the tab, take both ends and attach them to the rotator, sticking them into the jamcleats, with one end of the bungie going on each side of the mast.

With no tension on the bungie, nothing happens. But tighten up a little, and suddenly, the mast wants to be rotated - either way, doesn't matter. So when under way and the mast is slightly underrotated, I just snug up that bungie and the mast rotates to wherever I care to set it. When I tack, it just flips over to the other side, allready set. Works to windward, downwind, reaching, you name it - one little tweak and you're done until you change point of sail.

*Why* it works will become obvious when you try it - - or if you just have to know first, post a reply and I'll bore you with the details.
