Can anyone point me in the direction of any literature, rigging diagrams or information of any kind on the Sol Cat 18‘ catamaran. I have wanted to sail a cat for some time now and maybe lucked into a deal but try as I might I can find nothing on the net other than sales of this cat. It has been sitting for some time but I believe I can resurrect her given some original diagrams or such. I have compared it to the Hobie 16/18 but from what I can tell there are some major differences. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have come to the right place to ask questions. You can do a search on here and usually find some good info. I am sure this has been discussed before.

Here is what I know (very limited) they were a good cat and built pretty tough. I think they were a little bit heavy but still pretty fun. I would imagine that many parts from other cats could be made to fit it but that will have to be tested.
