There will be a catamaran race at Mattituck Yacht Club on Sunday, September 15th, 2002.

There will be at least 3 buoy races directly off the yacht club beach with food and drink afterwards. There are young crew available (Sunfish sailors from the yacht club), but you will need to seek one in advance.

Registration Fee is still TBD at this time (Hopefully less than $15 per person).

For info, contact:

Steve Bellavia bellavia@bnl.gov or 631-344-4846

Not Attending

I'm going to pick Saturday to go sailing, instead of Sunday due to expected (really) bad weather on sunday.

Hi all,

It tuned out to be a pretty good sailing day after all (no rain or T-storms until 6:30 PM, winds 12-18 kts, water pretty flat). However, with the threat from the weather service, plus a small craft advisory, we had to cancel.

I am afraid that I am unable to re-schedule another event for this year. Sorry

See you guys next year!
