A skiff simulation is now available.
Now we have cats, laser-like and the new boat and we're done with the dinghies.

Tacticat sailors start to understand that each boat demands different tactical skills:
- Cats are slow to tack, tactics are more 'plan-based'
- Lasers tack in a dime, play the 4-degree shifts
- Skiffs have a gennaker and capsize: risk management

Every now and then we do have cats-only events. Also all rankings require good results in all classes, cats included. Let's hope cat sailing gets some attention.

Plus there's a possibility the cats will be fitted with a kite, and..... we might even have cats v. skiffs races which would be fun.
I guess it depends on how much support there is for it.

I think that mixed races at Tacticat (SKIFF & CATS) are not a possibility in the short term.
Assigning porstmouth coeficients or tweaking the speed of any boat risks to be too much controversial. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
