Hi All,

The website for the F16 global challenge will be online very soon (today or tommorrow). We have found a partner (netexpo) who is sponsoring some host spacing for the event webpage where we can put on the event information.
The URL will be www.f16worlds.zandvoortonline.com
On this page there will be as good as possible information available for the event, sleeping places, route maps etc etc.

Regards,
Hans Klok

Is it wise to use the word "Worlds", considering what we know about ISAF and how they came down on the wave class and SL16 class when they used the same word ?

I think this is like asking for major trouble.

The website is online now. The event is not called Worlds or Worldchampionship and i can not belief that ISAF is having any control on how an URL is called this has nothing to do with sailing or ISAF. WHen they are saying that you can not call a event Worlds or Worldchampionship than you are right.
So we will see what will happen.

Best regards,

Hans Klok

How about "Whirled" as in Whirled Peas. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Logo could be a line sketch of little tornado (whirlwind).

To all F16 sailors,

On the event website you will find now webcams to see the beach and Zandvoort from the highest building. Go to the site www.f16worlds.zandvoortonline.com and follow the link "webcams". There is also the weather conditions for the day available. You will see that on this moment the winter is still there.

Best regards,

Hans Klok
