are there any panamanian cat sailors who view this site?

I asked about Costa Rica a couple weeks ago and got no response. I kinda get the feeling that beach cat sailing is not big in central america. Probably no boat ramps and, if you left your boat on the beach, it would be stripped pretty quickly.

There's a very strong Hobie 16 contingent in Guatemala, but you're right about the security situation. Boats are kept behind fences and armed guards.
