I’d like to attend to the regaata’s in Tampa and the Nationals, and would ask if there is someone who could need a crew. I do own a Taipan 4.9 myself, but shipping it from the Netherlands is a bit costly..

But I’d like to share all the ideas about how to setup and sail a taipan. And If you want me to steer, well, even better.

Ricks boat in the keys has the gear but not a spinnaker; he uses a hooter.



Can you bring your own spinnaker sail with you ?



I've just sold my Prindle 18 with the spi I had so I can't bring my own.



With your spi the Taipan of Rick will be available for the F16 nationals. Still need to work out who sails on which boat but we must be able to work that out.



Still working on boats for the Taipan nationals.

Sure, I can take my complete spinaker setup with me, including sheets/blocks and bag, just not the pole.

The setup is made for a snuffer system, but could probably built on a conventional system.

But then, I must say I am not experienced in putting a spi in a bag quickly..

Kirt has an extra pole with snuffer hoop so we may well use that one for your spi.



And yes a snuffer spi can be build on a conventional system.
