Hey guys,
I'm going to Cabo San Lucas the week after next for the week. I looked on the internet and couldn't find any places that rents cats. Has anyone that has been there rented anything down there? I know there are some beaches that have bad riptides this time of year, but there has to be somewhere that is sailable. Even better, are there any hobie fleets down there that might be willing to let me take a boat out for a couple hours? I figured since i'm not going to MWE I may as well get some kind of sailing fix in.
Thanks,
Todd

As much fun as Cabo sounds, my plane tickets to Spain are already booked. I'm leaving Friday night to do the tour of Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona in a week. Maybe get a ride on an America's Cup boat if I'm lucky. I wonder if Cabo Wabo is sold in Spain.

i havn't been there in over one yr. on the main beach there was a guy with some old h16's and a TheMightyHobie18 with no dagger boards. i remember it was expensive i think 50$ per hr. based on the quality of the boat. i passed. try some of the resorts in los cabos. i bet one or two of them will have a wave or something in better working order. i had luck in laredo mx i saw a h18sx on a trailor asked a few locals. a about an hour later i rented the boat for 50 bucks for the entire weekend. it belong to some ex-pat. living down there. he was glad to see it being used. i bot him dinner and beer.
