Hi All

Just wondering whether anyone could tell me the thickness of the proctor spreader arms at their pivot point please.

Just trying to custom make a collar suit the arms, and need a thickness, I'm guessing if I said they might be about 10mm thick?

Thanks in Advance

Thanks for that, but I've got all the gear I need to do the job, I've made quite a few of my own fittings to date, just thought I might be able to have it ready to put straight on when I get the arms.

So, if anyone can help me with the thickness of the arms, that would be great.

Regards

Matt,
I just happen to have a set of proctor spreaders waiting for my new boat. First boat in nearly 3 decades that I haven't built myslef.

As far as the proctor dimensions?
I pulled out my digital verniers and measured the proctors at 9.88mm. So your guess at 10mm is pretty good.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Phill

No doubt about you Phill, you're a lifesaver. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

What are you going to do with all your spare time? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Can I smell another design brewing? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks again Phill
