With the time constraints if being a single dad, I've done the big wimp and I'm getting Matt Kelly at VSS( as recom. by Mattaipan) to do the Job. ( Oh the shame !!) <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> To further erode my "sailing manhood" I'm getting him to to a total strip and repaint at the same time.

I figured the purchase price of the boat together with the cost of this work has ended up being pretty good value for a relatively young boat with a brand new pro paint job and I really bought this boat to get me back on the water ASAP with a view to upgrading in 2-3 seasons.

I am at least going to do the boards and rudders myself and have a spare rudder which I will use for a dummy run this very weekend. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

As I had to take all the fittings off anyway, I'm taking the opportunity to move and replace a few things and do away with some. I'm going to start with the simplest of cat-rigged setups and look and learn from others in the fleet over next season.

I'm hopeful I'll be up and running for the Sauna Sail.
