I just talked to Warren Green, and he said the race is DEFINITELY on, no matter how few or many boats show up, because he wants to keep the race alive. They are working out details and will get the information back to us to post on the forum very soon.

Right now what is known for sure is that the race is going to have a water start on the ocean side at the Islander Motel in Islamorada. Registration will be done when you arrive at the Islander. There will be a rigging area for boats and an area for the trailers.

There will be people on site to handle registration the evening before the start, and they are planning some kind of social function at the Islander the evening before, too.

The stop for the first night will be in Marathon, but at a different part of the Sombrero Beach than in past years.
