Hi all,

hope I am not repeating myself. But one of the cheapest sources of Carbon masts outside the UK, that can be used on F16's is second hand A class masts.

The problem with this is the one I bought had a tip weight with fixed rigging of from memory 4.25kg. This would not be strong enough for a F16 mast in my opinion, but some might try . As it is certainly a easy and quick option, just cut .5m off the top, leave all the rigging the same.

I don't think this would be good for the class, not every body is a home builder, able to modify it like I did. In fact until you picked it up it was impossible to tell it was not a standard A class mast. Many people commented on how light it looked. With a tip weight of 6kg. it proved to be very robust, with a tip weight of 4.5 kg, I am sure it would have broken.
