John Casey / Christa van Helden : Infusion F18 placed 38th / 28th (elapsed / corrected)

They were finished at 03:49:29 (corrected : 3:47:13) and were 19:03 slower then the lead F18 by Bundock/Ashby (also corrected time winners). The time distance to the line honours winners (M20 GTI)is 32:56

Trey Brown / Hugo LeBreton : Inter-20 OD (large sails) placed 57th / 140th (elapsed / corrected)

They finished at 03:55:16 (corrected : 04:07:39); being 39:24 from winning the race on handicap and
51:04 from winning line-honours.

They were the 5th Inter-20 OD (US sail plan) out of 19 such boats. There were also some 35 Formula 20 boats at this event of which 2 finished ahead of Brown/LeBreton.

Interesting to note is that the 16 ft Spitfire sailed by Sproat/Burke was 01:05 behind Brown/LeBreton at the finish line (62nd on elapsed).

Must have been fun racing a 16 foot spinnaker boat for 4 hours while sailing an Inter-20 with US sail plan yourself, in 7-10 knots of wind.

Again it is interesting to note that this Spitfire crew finished 29th on corrected time (29th on corrected) and only 3 seconds behind team Casey/van Helden.

Sorry I just couldn't resist !

(P.S. Blades were a little further down the listing so ... BTW, Sproat/Burke are very good sailors indeed)
