If you have a old tramp that the sun has worn the coating off of it, give it a coating of plastidip.

It comes in a spray or liquid, but you would need to thin liquid version and brush it on cause it is intended for dripping tools to create rubber handles. The liquid goes on thicker but the spray will go on more even.
