Wrong Robi. Same principle applies. I have never had any other nuts then nylon lock nuts. The only difference is that they work themselves loose a little slower.

Wrong WOUTER! I am an aviation mechanic and we use nylon lock nuts for a [censored] reason. They are not supposed to work there way loose. You are using the wrong nuts then. Purchase quality stuff, not junk and you wont have problems.
Did you not read my entire post! Just because you have nylon nuts does not mean you should not check them.
