Cheap though, $45 a beam and 35mm flex was less then most of the other cats mentioned.
Have you measured the flex on your 14ft cat?

Not accurately but I've recently made a new front beam from an un-milled mast section and it seems much stiffer than it was.
I will do a measurement shortly just for interest sake.
