35mm for my Mozzie using the method previously mentioned. No rig, platform weight 55kg.
Approx 50 by 40, 3mm thick beam for Mozzy depending on
which beam is used.

Oh, Ok. 50 x 40 rhs, Not a good torsion member. Certainly not as stiff as a tube and the bigger tube diameter the better.
Tightening the dolphin striker doesn't contribute to stiffness.
