Thanks Dan,
I'm not a racer, too much travel for me, I just wanna jump on the nearest boat when it's blowing and I can break free. I end up sailing solo much of the time, but want a boat that can be run 2 up, want a spin boat that's well sorted, easy to push with eager, willing but marginally skilled crew. Like to sail when it's blowing hard, 15 to 25 kts. I have a Boyer MkIII for the light air days, and a 24' cat on a big mountain lake in northwest MT so I can get powered up regularly when the summer doldrums hit the inland northwest.
Seems like F18s and F16s would fill the bill for the spring and fall winds close to home. Have been out on a Tiger a couple of times and loved it, although the lighter weight of the F16 is appealing for those times that I'm dragging (figuratively) the boat in and out of the water by myself. Any leads and advice are much appreciated!
