Dude, I've got a kid that was born with a lot of problems, the worse being spina bifida. He will live with both physical and mental challenges his whole life. He's had many surgeries to help improve his quality of life.

He's a good kid, hold down a job where he gets good reviews and has many friends who look out for his well being.

The saddest thing he ever said was to ask my wife, "Mom, will there ever be an operation that will let me walk like other kids?"
