they are the original sails, so 26 years old now, still very crisp but undoubtedly new sails would be better

however our races are all handicap with some old wooden boats having been built in the 1920's!

certainly nothing this year could keep up with my old nacra, even with old sails

our race buoys are also pretty tricky with most being very close to shore and subject to big wind shifts from headlands etc.
