First of all let me say im sorry if my terminology is wrong, but i will try to explain myself as thoroughly as possible so that it can be understood what im trying to explain. The Rear and Front metal crossbar that is held onto the hull with two straps on each side and square washers is having some problems. The washers on certain points are coming through the hull. The boat is a 1982 5.8 and the hull seems to be strong everywhere else. There have already been local repairs done before from what i can tell (they were bad though) and the problem is resurfacing.

I would like to avoid re-glassing the whole part because it would be above and beyond my means right now but any other suggestions are more than welcome!
