That is my fear... so far they have been willing to work with us. Last year when it came up... i spoke with the attorney. He said if you can get the officer who made the complaint to drop it.. i will.
That was last year... we have been good... (not leaving boats for to extended periods)... but it is back...
they (lawyer and parks/rec manager seem to be willing to work out a compromise before it goes to city council to become law)....
That's the funny part of this, the cop who made the complaint. Why the hell is he complaining about anything. The sheriff's dept works for the city. The city tells them how to operate. The problem is one or two of the condo dwellers, P.W.T.D.'s ( people waiting to die) who think they own the beach. They had a meeting down there where the deputy solicited complaints. Quoting the sheriff " If no one complains then he can't do anything"
This is another good one. One of these pwtd's suggested that the cat's could be used to sail down a quarter mile to the condo's and commit crime. That's why they should be gone. Frickin bunch of Einsteins. Where do we get people like this? from up north . They come down here and then want to change it into the crap hole they left.
Don't these people have anything better to do ???? I know stupid question.
So Andrew, the cop will never remove the complaint he solicited. He'll look like a bigger jerk then he is.
