ok, well, i just spent an hour and a half trying to get those two small brittle 35+yr old nylon insert bolts, on the inside of the rudder casting (for tensioning the cam i guess, cams have always been broken and non functional on my boat as its been a project and never sailed yet)
basicly,
what is the name of the cam assembly, with the spring and nylock tensioner bolt and the bushing and the little black bearing i suppose it is, and does anyone have any spares???
im 17 and i only make 100 bucks a week @ work, with for 8 weeks , my paychecks go to paying off debts i owe, i was hoping to get the boat back together before then,
right now theres two burt to a crist nylon bols stuck in the casting that ive tried everything i can to get out, i guess ill just continue at it with the propane torch till it totally burns out, im out of ideas. need to get these parts finished before tonight, ugh, hate rushing.
