thanks so much for the advice, though ive somewhat damaged the threads of one of the castings, and im a bit worried about investing $ and ending up having another delrin screw stuck up there, a tap that size probably runs what, 15-20 bucks? not to mention a handle for it...
anyone got some lower h-14-t castings they can let go of cheap to a 17 yr old independently restoring a very early model hobie 14 turbo?????? if not, i guess ill go buy all that crap, cuz the springs are shot, they arent the new style with the built in nipple shaped bushing that sits attop the sping, its the old style with the bearing seat and a black nylon ball, one ball was missing, so ill have to reorder all that, HO boy,
