This is the same logic that Gary Bodie used to rationalize the removal of catamarans from the Olympics. Paraphrasing: "It's just a different boat" he said, "we're talking about dinghies and multihulls but we may as well be talking about red boats and blue boats. There is no difference. "
Funny, I always have the same line of reasoning about the Laser and Finn. I guess he sees that as being worlds apart.
