What does it take to operate this forum? Both equipment and time?

But... someone has to assume responsibility to pay the bills. No idea what they are at the moment. One of the White family would probably need to contact them to find out and then discuss options.
If it is decided that its a good idea to transfer to a new host, I'd guess it would be a week or two of effort if someone was motivated. These would be the estimated costs:
