Really appreciate Chuck and all his efforts, Tybee is lucky to have him and so are we with his organization and longterm involvement of this event .
Hollywood START , sounds good , NO offence intended to the keys ,but traffic getting there is terrible .
Which team members are from Hollywood ? As Fred mentions above it is a great way to promote the sport, event , and local tourism to the municipalities along the 1000 mile course along the Eastern seaboard.
WOW -just realized I haven,t sailed the I-20 since the 03 Tybee 500 ,-a little rusty this May ! Maybe a different 20 this time . Would like to try an Arc 21 . Do enjoy the event and think it is good to discuss and offer opinions and potential options along with information and experiences of past events.
Looking out the office window here in MI today at 12 degree F temps with half a foot more snow forcast for this evening , I enjoy the winter season ,skating ,-x country skiing etc .but Hollywood FL ,warm temps ,tropical sun,and racing another 1000 on the Atlantic sounds pretty good about now .
Hope we see 30 plus teams on the start line {in Hollywood}
