Do you want to race with your wife or girlfriend?,or will they take turns? If you're looking to race with someone and looking for large competitive one design fleets, then it's hard to beat the H16. You can pick up a boat to learn on for $2500 and still be competitive. The North Americans have drawn over 60 teams regularly. When you figure that out, then maybe look into the F18 class. My 2 cents.
