Folks,
I would advise against standing on the cenreboard.

I am sure that with a little prompting Phill will expand on this for us. I thought I would poll my fellow forumites for their opinions and experiences.

Well, I tried to create a poll but the software kept throwing an error at me. So please chime in.
Do you stand on the boards to right the boat when single handed?

1. Yes, I have to.
2. Yes, because it is easier/faster
3. No, I don't have to.
4. No, because I was told not to.
5. Definitely not because of intimate experience with failure.

Personally, I found that I had to stand on the board to get the boat to right (without mechanical aids). I was working on the understanding that sailing forces could exceed those from my standing on it. Jumping would be evil though.
