You guys seem to have short memories regarding damage to Orange II, in 2004 they had to abandon the Jules Verne because of a drive shaft leak.
They actually abandoned twice. The first time was after the crash box on one of the bows broke off. They returned to France, had a new one put on and restarted 24 hours later.
