I'm not sure the other poster's were completely clear. The way you want to do the jib will not work. You must run the line out to the edge and put the bungee in the middle in order for the system to work.



There are many other systems out there. I've seen people replace the wire with spectra but it does stretch and has to be retightened once in a while. Spectra also will wear through where it is tied but you can see it wearing and replace accordingly.
