I don't know where you are or whether your tramp is easily re-sewn or adaptable to the jib attachments. I can say that the poster above, Jonathon Grant, does really great work on new tramps. I designed mine for the jib attachments using grommets to run spectra in tight loops across the places the 4-way had the best luff. You're right that there's a big variation in jibs. I have two, and one is just too short to work well on the boundaries of the attachments, while the other is perfect. Jonathon sewed in reinforcing material and then punched in the grommets. I know he worked hard on it, and it's holding up well. He has it now because the fireworks on the beach in Mexico ate holes in it. He usually just builds new tramps...
