Posts: 19 | I was considering a Hobie 11 in great shape for the age. I know it is more of a one-man boat with a cap. of not much more than 250lbs. Are sails and other parts still available for this model? What else should I be worried about. Any one have one? How do you like it?

Posts: 902 Norman,OK | Sorry Seeker, but you are talking about a different boat than the rest of us.
The boat you are thinking of was the Hobie MOnocat, which is basically their Bravo from years ago.
The boat we are talking about is basically the Hobie 14 cut down to 11 feet with wooden rudders. Hobie made it for one of his kids, it was tiny and only for kids.
