I was at GYC today, and yes, the Viper was there. Can't remember if it had a carbon mast.

Dermot, it's easier to drive in America but only because eveyone drives on the "right" side of the road! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

How you guys do it over there is beyond me.

I saw the Viper at GYC too. Mast is under a cover, I would assume "Carbon" with all that extra UV protection.

The viper is at GYC.
Took the covers off yesterday and it is
basically a 16 foot Capricorn.
It does have a carbon mast that is already painted white.
It will be sailing at the F16 Invitational and hasn't yet been water tested. I am hoping to give it the first integrity test.

forgot to mention that team S & S will be sailing
the invitational so all beware.
Tim you won't be so lucky this time.
Terry you are going down.
The 2's will be on the back hulls for everyone to know their position.

<img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> You guys are gonna get your butts handed to you (prolly not by me though)! You really know how to motivate the competition.

This should be fun! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Dude, don't harsh my mellow, instant karma will get you again if you keep it up. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Luck had nothing to do with it, skill, cunning and boat preparation is what did it. Come March I might be going solo, still undecided, unless I can lose 30 lbs. between now and then or it's blowing 20+. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

That would be Seth & Stefan. They are the "sweetest" most docile sailors on the beach...Very fun to have a beer with ...

...but once on the water they are "mean & nasty".

By all accounts they are CRAZY. They'll drive their boat the hardest ... with amazing crashes!

It's been said that the Stefan has dove over the front cross beams during a pitchpole then reappear at the rear cross beam holding the boat down from actually going over.

And remember, at this years Tradewinds, it was Stefan whose hip slid violently against the sidestay during a pitchpoled that sheered off the shroud adjustor causing the de-mast.

Here's a "mug shot" so you know who to roll over when you get the chance, and you will get the chance! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hey, nice job on that mainsheet Skipper, no wonder the mast went over... <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Here's what it looks like when the mast is UP! <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> Don't worry, you won't see it from that view. <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
