Guy I was with was the first time ON A BOAT so I had to be
careful to explain things and also not to lose him. But overall I'd say it was a fun day <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Beautiful pics. My first Hobie was a brand new '81 16 with Tequila Sunrise sails. Your pics bring back fond memories.

"Going about on your pretty multi-coloured sail catamaran blatantly having fun while flying hulls with a novice sailor. That's no way to get accepted into civil sailing society, young man. I suggest you learn some manners, buy a sensible white-sailed proper boat, having the appropriate number of hulls, ie 1. Sailing is a serious business and we have no time for the likes of you who are bent on enjoying themselves on the water."

Love the pics man, brought back memories of my first sail outing ever, strapped into a trapeze harness on my neighbour's H-16, orange-hulled with a red yellow and orange sail at age ten. The moment the hull started flying while I was out on the wire, I was lost for the monohull cause.

My first question for new crew is, "Can you swim?"

Cause sometimes we go for one.

Nice pics. Has the sound warmed up yet?

Bill

Sound is warm like a soup <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> not really but we went down
a few times and didn't freeze at all. **** breeze is
great though, or just before/after a storm you get good
wind.

The second question should be "Are you afraid of heights?"

The second question should be "Are you afraid of heights?"

Followed by "Do you bruise easily?" and "your not a hemophiliac are you?"

I used to cut myself one way or another almost everytime i went out for the first few years. It lead me to have the saying, "If you aren't bleeding.... you weren't sailing"...

The second question should be "Are you afraid of heights?"

Followed by "Do you bruise easily?" and "your not a hemophiliac are you?"

Then: "Do you like roller-coasters?"

For the racers: "How much do you weigh?"
