I would like to improve my stock 8:1 mainsheet on the Tiger.

I have already found information in an older post on this forum about how to do obtain a 10:1, adding a 5er upper 57 block and another 40 block on the lower end to obtain 10:1.

I also would like to taper the mainsheet, say some 5mm (is this enough?) dyneema stiched into my old sheet. I could not find any guide about how to stich the two sheets together. How do you make shure it holds? What about the transition from thick to thin? Do you know any guide how to do this?

This is the system I found in another post, I would only need to add a single block at the lower end and get the 5er block. BTW, my system is the older one not the ratchamatic

Jeremy at surf city tapered my main for me. I went with a 10:1 with the 5 block on top. I will take pics.
But Jeremy at surf city has the info i think.

a word of caution.... oversheeting can damage your sail. Try to remember this as you are sheeting hard.

I have put tears in my main just below (and along) the batten pockets in 2 different locations and had to remove the batten pockets. create patches and re-attach the pockets.

My friend did the same to his G-Cat.

Does anyone know why the square rigger Falls of Clyde in Honolulu is being junked? It is mentioned in Toss's page.

It's almost ready to sink on its own. Do a search on the Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star Bulletin. I thought I heard someone came up with the money to restore it.

Tami,
Which one would be more applicable for my I-20 and my A cat,the micro or the small?
Thanks,
