Hey Jake if you want a screenshot in the top 100 why not sail straight for singapore while everyone else is trying to get around the top of the Island, then just before you run aground on Indonesia, take the picture grin

I don't think I took quite enough north last night; I have a fair angle for the mark, but will need to round up to around 45 to true to make it.

Here in about 4 hours, there's going to be a little bit of a right shift. I don't think it's going to be enough to save me with you guys though. I think you guys are going to still be in a better position to round that gate in front of me.

196th place! and I've taken a mile out of the 15 mile lead 2nd place has in front of me in the last hour (not fast enough).

You are now officially obsessed by watching your score go down! wink
You should really start going upwind a little.
Also notice how the wind in the channel is straight on the nose.

My wifes 11000 places ahead of me I'll never hear the end of this. If she wins I'm the crew on the tiger next year.

I know! But if I tack back now, I'll have all you guys ahead of me. I'm hoping the shift in one hour is going to be a little steeper than predicted so I can get a big lift to the gate and keep you guys on my back door....it's a bit of a hail mary. If I tack to starboard now, you guys will definitely be in front of me because of the wind angle. I'm hoping the guys to my north get a big nasty header in an hour that will be a lift for me.

112th place now! eek (but I do realize it's a bit meaningless at this point).

wind shifted...it wasn't special enough. Now begins my downward slide from a high of 102! ;-)

Say hello to the gate for me!

You might be able to go to you friends page and erase everyone but us. I think they will still show the top five.

I've just gone aground!!!! Bugga...

Should pay more attention!

Now making a hitch north east for a bit of space!

then do we head off SE or go NE for more wind...

I'll throw a dice in a minute

Edit; I'm thinking it might have paid to go further north; but not now sure if it is worth it!

Tried to log in last night (late) and could not; so I have now moved north way further than I wanted; so decided to keep going to the bigger wind and sail further.

I'm starting to get really fecked off with the problems in this game...
