Posts: 1,911 South Florida & the Keys | Hey guys,
I want to add positive mast rotation to the ARC21.
I have a rotator bar that mounts in front of the beam. Do you have any tips or tricks for this arrangement before I start drillin?

I am having a new sail made and will be adding a more common style boom with a gooseneck on the mast.
John Sheifer called the rotator that I have a Platypus style rotator.

The reason I asked about the boom is that on the N6.0NA they were boomless and you had to apply positive mast rotation all the time, upwind and downwind. I had a perfect system on mine and thought I would tell you about that one, but if you have a boom, it wouldn't work. Rick | | | Re: Adding Positive Mast rotation

Rotation is controlled by a horizontal plate wit 8 holes to adjust for wind strength. You cannot reset it on the water between legs.
