Posts: 3,355 Key Largo, FL and Put-in-Bay, ... | Apparently they are not locking down. To lock them you push straight back on the tiller arm and once the rudder is in position, push down on the tiller arm and it should lock. Take a look at the cam and see if it is in the correct position to lock down. If it looks like a duck bill, then it won't lock down. So, take a large screwdriver and flip the cam so the duck bill is not showing. Then it should lock down. If it doesn't, you may need to replace some parts. On our www.OnLineMarineStore.com we do sell parts to repair the rudder cams. You might need to replace the cam and push rod. Rick | | | Re: Rudder Adjustment

Posts: 1,252 California | Review the FAQ about rudder cams here: Hobie Rudder Cam FAQ Yes, it is quite possible that your "cams" are in the locked down position, but the tiller arms have released from them. This is all described in my cam FAQ. | | | Re: Rudder Adjustment

Posts: 17 Isle of Wight, England | Dear All, I'm sorry but I'm having trouble understanding the instructions so I've taken some photos in the hope that someone can relate what I need to do with the pictures I've taken. (for some reason the pictures aren't showing on my preview so if the pictures don't appear I may need advice on posting them, sorry). Regards, Tim P.S. I cannot load the pictures because they are too high res. I'll try and reduce them.

After you put in your text, underneath the reply window is "File Manager." Click on that, and then on "Browse" to find the picture you want. Open that file, and then click on "Add file." you can add more up to 3. Then click on "Done adding files." And then on "Submit." | | |
