most designs have a low weight, so they can be handled on less favorable shaped beaches by a single person.
The class rules reflect the sailors needs, not the manufacturers
Communications happens in english on the internet, allowing to support dislocated sailors. Class members use this possibility. At the end you have a far better support than any manufacturer can give you.
Class is currently build by "fun" sailor, instead of paid pros, giving a homogeneous group with similar interests
