I know the older cattrak's was thinner than the currrent(and lighter). It is not so much the thickness but the stiffness level.

From a woman that response is spot on and the timing is brilliant. From a dude... it's just gay. Love you anyway Karl, but I'm taken.

I could never find the right size and ended up buying from Florida Sailcraft.http://www.floridasailcraft.com/CatAccesories.htm

Thanks for the input, I ended up buying a 2" OD 10 ft long piece of PVC for $5, and some Seitech A wheels. I got the axels and plan on using some delrin as a way to make up the differience between the ID of the PVC and the OD of the axels. I will let you know how it works.

I think I bought aluminum conduit from an electrical supply house. Was pretty heavy walled and worked well.

The PVC beach wheel experiment seems to be working out well.

Drilled a 1" hole in the PVC end cap, added two bolts 1 3/4" to the axle, in opposite planes to center the axle, glued the end cap onto the pipe.

the axle and the bolts are all contained inside the tube end cap glues it all together nicely. the best part is that if I dont like it, I only spent 10 bucks on the pvc.
