Hobie 21 (co-owned)
Laser
Supercat 15 (co-owned)
Lara S, the 27ft hydrofoil assisted foding tri.

The last one cost 100 and was sold a few weeks ago at 160.
FX variation and inflation make it look good, but in local currency we just broke even. In reality we lost 10 years inflation in terms of local purchase power.

So true. I bought my Hobie 21SE for $2400. It was my first big boat and I figured I was going to keep it for a while. I had a modern EP spin made for it and a new main and jib from Clavert. Then a new trampoline. I remember someone at 05 Tiger Worlds in Santabarbara telling me that those boats were pretty valuable. In October or so, a guy called me wanting to buy it (it wasn't for sale). I told him the only way I'd sell it was to get a N20. He gave me $8,000 for it. Tha put me in the ball park for my N20, which I love. But, I wish I never sold the 21. I never really liked the H16 but it got me into sailing.

Robi, he asked how many boats you have had, not what you have right now. You did have the first Blade, did you not? And the Pheonix Capricorn? And a Hobie 16 way back? Where are you living these days? I heard you went to PR?

We need another birthday party for Andi!
oh!
Yeah hobie 16, San Juan 21, first production built blade f16 and the 2008 alter cup capricorn.

and Tim, I am living in Tampa now, I never left to Puerto Rico, going to school and setting up a business. Good times.

Kris, For you and anyone else who has owned a Blade and then a Falcon.... was it worth the extra money and trouble switching?

bought a new '81 Hobie 16 & sold it in 95-ish (hadn't raced since ~'85)
2000 Vanguard Vector (had to try the hp dinghy thing)

then...in rough order from 2005
82 TheMightyHobie18 raced/sold
81 H16 raced/sold
95 H20 sold
93 H20 raced/sold
84 H16 (the >20 knots day boat)
85 P15 raced/sold frown
83 H14 raced/sold
84 H16 raced (for sale)
05 H16 current racer
84 H14 current racer
85 TheMightyHobie18 current racer
81 TheMightyHobie18 (for sale)

Also since 2005, have owned no less than a dozen H16's and half dozen other H14's that I never sailed, or only once or twice with the new owner.

Currently I have at the house,
a '97 Hobie 17 (fixing up for son Paul),
the 84 & 05 Hobie 16's,
81 & 85 Hobie 18's
...and at the mast up lot
the 84 Hobie 14 & Hobie 16.

I think Tom wins. Dealers have had fewer boats pass through their hands.

pales in comparison to some of these lists, but:

wooden/waterlogged sunfish (family boat)
Alpha Romeo windsurfer (total What.T.F. were they thinking. WOODEN BOOMS!)
Boatload (literaly over a dozen) windsurfers of various sizes
Butterfly
C-scow (family boat) with badly leaking scuppers
buccaneer (barf)
Flying scott (double barf)
Hobie 17"ish". Not sure what the prior owner did to it, but was too young to care
Contest 30 (3 ksb)
C&C 36 (4 ksb but it does have a nice head)
I20/N20 (double yey!)
