Is it possible to install the self tacking jib kit and still use the roller furling feature?

try contacting the factory at http://www.performancecat.com/ or 714-835-6416

They had a prototype I20 with self-tacking jib at the New Year's Day race in San Diego.....I'm also thinking about switching to this. I see not reason why that would interfere with roller-furling (although anything is possible).

I have the self-tacking jib with a full batten jib and a roller furling jib. There is a small 2:1 from the clew to the track. If you make it a 1:1 you will be able to furl the jib. i haven't found a need to furl the battened jib yet. When you park, the jib stays on the center line of the boat. It has been a great addition to the boat. I have some pictures somewhere I could send you. I would recomend the upgrade.

Are you saying that the 2:1 off the clew must not be used? Or is it a matter of lenghing the line?

Yes

The jib is so small you don't notice much difference. Lengthening the line won't work as you won't be able to sheet in all the way.
