I figure it behooves us all to act prudently. I mean, I can live with the lifestyle change - it's not that big a deal, compared with the possibilities that face us.
Why should I change a DAMN THING about my lifestyle when I'm not convinced I'm doing anything to perpetuate global warming?

Wow. But if we run out of oil what will we use to make high tech sails? I am sure they use some petroleum byproducts!
What about a new policy of full disclosure when we talk about this stuff? If anyone wants to participate you must list the types of cars/trucks you drive, what your monthly electric bill is, whether you recycle, what you do for a living, what stocks you own, what mutual funds you own in case one of them has an oil company in its portfolio, and who you voted for in the last 4 presidential elections and why.
