This is a good question for me AND it will show my ignorance. Do sailboats ALWAYS have the right of way over power boats? or do standard "rules of the road" (not racing rules) override the sail power versus motor power in some occasions?

Example: if this collision occured between two power boats, the boat to the port side of the other is responsible for giving way, right??
