I'm guessing you would have faster than the Hobie 16's unless they were sailed by midgets <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> and heaps faster that the Hobie 18.

Not to mention heaps faster than the two old wackers on the 5.8, 700km for a drifter probably wasn't worth it but to meet the people who kept coming up and introducing themselves before and after the race was fantastic. Not to mention the start boat skipper who called out in anguish that we were being thrashed by a mozzie and called out sail trimming instructions.
