Hi all,
when i bought my nacra 5.2 the traveller sheet was tied off to the block on the rear beam giving me a 2:1 purchase

especially when sailing without the jib in big winds and broad reaching i've found 2:1 on the traveller sheet not to be enough

looking at the boat today i realised that instead of tying off to that rear beam block i can easily increase the purchase to 3:1 by running a longer sheet through it and then back to the traveller car

am guessing that 18-20 foot cats use 3:1...block and saddle
12-16 foot cats use 2:1...only saddle on rear beam center
and 17foot boats use either 2:1 or 3:1

would that be about right?
