I sailed a 5.5 U for a summer and loved the boat, although it is not easy to right. Just using a line over the hull, I was able to get it up once out of 3 times. Not good.
It was then I got a waterbag system. It worked but was clumsy.
Now we have the Rick White Power Righter (by the way, I came up with this because of trouble righting boats.., and I am a big guy at 6'2" and usually over 200)

Taipan is definitely easier due to the very light mast.
