Wouter, you said, "-1- Rick Whites book catamaran sailing for the 90's. (Some things are different on modern rigs but it undoubtable a very good starting point and basic framework to hang additional experience on)"

Are you saying that rigging in that book is outdated?
Incredible! And yet in the F16 Forum you suggest reading tips for sailing the Taipans (which I read thoroughly) and found that most of the techniques and rigging were taken almost verbatim from portions of my book.

Nothing major has changed since writing that book, hence no new book. Although we do need to write another book since more and better headsails are being operated.., as well as some other minor situations and some other winning tips that I have learned since writing the last book and from putting on Seminars every year. Amazing how much I am able to learn from watching a video -- that is how the Catamaran roll tack began. By the way, another technique quoted almost verbatim in your recommended reading.

Starting to take a little offense in your ramblings.
Rick
